is c1780 EBCM-related??
hey,
i got a fault code (c1255 i think that was) for abs/active handling, telling me to replace my ebcm, which i already ordered. i also get c1780 for selective ride control. is this one also ebcm-related?? thanks

My C5 code list says c1780 is loss of steering wheel position signal. Can't remember the code I got, but it lead me to the steering wheel position sensor. I unpluged the connector on the sensor, put dielectric grease on the pins, reconnected it and the code never came back.
worth a try, changing that sensor looks like major surgery.
