I have a roll of black alcantara sitting in the basement waiting to go on the headliner, but after a brief eval of the plastic surrounds, I'm not too sure how to go about removing them, specifically the A-pillars... anyone have any advice, or possibly a how-to? thanks in advance!
If I leave my car sit in the sun all day and it comes half down all on it's own! The whole panel is glued, no fastners so get a corner loose and hit the glue with some heat and work it down...

AND, 3M has a good adhesive remover and an excellent adhesive. Just did mine.
I did'nt look but if you have a Z06 or FRC to get the headliner down you need to pull off your sun visors and a little tab on the back center of your headliner. As far as your A pillars go just grab a hold of em and pull back it's just snapped in, just be careful not to snap the plastic tabs. All of the interior peices you need to pull out are either snap on peices or have tabs in them that need to be removed before they get pulled out. The only thing you cant just tug on is the plastic peice where your shoulder belt anchors to, that just happens to be a large torx screw then snaps out.
