The other day I was re-charging the A/C having the car running with the A/C on full and while doing so I was listening to the normal piston slap while the engine was warming up when I kept bumping the oil pan dip stick while rocking the can of freon. I decided to remove the dip stick to get it out of the way and as I started pulling it out I heard a vacuum noise coming from the tube and soon after the piston noise went away. I pushed the stick in and the piston noise came back??????
First of all when I say piston noise, maybe that's not what I'm hearing, but it does go away after the engine has warmed up, and second, has anyone heard of this before and/or what could it be?

Humm ... never heard of that before. So if you remove and reinstall multiple times while it's warming up you can make the noise go away and come back depending if the dipstick is in or out?
