If this happens on slow tight turns like in a garage, check the rear axle shaft outer splines. They get dry and start making a popping noise during slow tight turns. You need to pull the rear wheels and remove the center nut on the outer hub assembly. You can then shoot some penatrating oil or other type lubricant onto the splines and hope it migrates down the splines. This should get rid of the noise. Some others have used regular engine oil and yet others used anti seize or lithium grease. You want something in liquid form that will migrate down the splines.
Do a search on rear axle noise and you should find other posts and even some pics. You need to find out what the torque spec is on the main axle nut as I have forgotten. I am sure someone else will chime in with an answer. Good luck with it.
when i turn my i hear this popping noise dont know what it is
You'll have to be more specific about this popping noise. Do you know where its coming from? Does it happen all the time? Does it happen when you turn a certain way?
have you resolved this yet? i have a similar problem but i think i have narrowed it down to the upper tie rod or the entire steering rack, whatever is more economical...
