Fuel Injection Cleaner?

Just wondering if anyone uses the STP fuel injection cleaner or similar that you add to your gas tank. I had my fuel injectors cleaned by the dealership about two years ago and was wondering if these products do the same job? Is it even worth cleaning the fuel injectors or is it a waste of money?

I'll throw in a bottle of Amsoil or Redline at oil changes. I feel the 93 oct. I run does enough in the meantime.

....or....you could just use Techron, with the added benefit of cleaning the fuel sending unit.

In my experience, the RedLine cleaner does this also....

Good thing....the Redline product information certainly does not mention anything about cleaning sulfur deposits. You would think they would highlight that info.

Is there any trick to getting the Techron into both tanks? Or do they just equalize anyway?

they equalize, best bet to be sure is let your tank get down to an 1/8 or 1/4...dump the bottle in at the station and then fill up to half or 3/4...then run it down below an 1/8 tank and do the same once more

A LOT OF US HAVE HAD GREAT LUCK WITH TECHRON. I'm sure the other stuff has some type of positive effect but for a C5 for whatever reason the techron does clear up the sticking fuel level sender and again a lot of us have had good luck with it
