Well, if it looks like other Black metalics, when the sun isn't hitting it right, it just looks like it is always dusty. But in the sun they look pretty good, depending if it is just metalic or some sort of pearl.
Hmmmm, 50 years and all they do is a makeup job on it....seems weak.
That is all GM has ever done for anniversary models. Special paint, a couple stickers and they try to sell it as something unique and special. So far they haven't produced an anniversary edition that I want at invoice let alone paying extra for it. I think the resale of previous editions proves that their marketing ideas are way off base. :smash:
GM tried Metallic Black 10 yrs . ago annd it looked like crap. I hope this one is better.
With these cosmetic changes, I guess I'll save my dough and keep my 2001 vert. :yesnod:
Yep, I agree. I like my Y2K C5 vert, cudn't care less about the 50th edition..
Before u know it the C6 will be on the road and the C5/50th edition will be
a relic of the past..Next thing will be the century corvette (I won't be around) and then, again, just more hype..

You were expecting more? :p: That is all that has ever been done for the anniversary cars. Don't expect any great value to develop for these cars either. I past history is an indicator, they will make a bunch of them and dealers will mark them up (the early ones will go real high). I do not know of any cars marketed as "special edition" , "collector", or "anniversary model" that has assended to great value in the collector market.
