LS1 replacement

I am replacing my LS1 with an LS6 his week. LS1 (LB) has approximately 28,000 miles and piston slap. Anyone have an idea what it is worth? Thanks in advance

Wow, you swapped an engine just for piston slap?
The block alone is worth about $500

He did not say he swapped it out because of piston slap. I think he is just making full disclosure (like piston slap is rare :-) Most likely wanted the extra HP of the LS6.

cheap head swap would have taken care of that, must be another reason for the swap

I had the engine replaced because I wanted the LS6, (more power) and because I did not want the piston slap. Thanks for the replies!
