Default Proper Maf Cleaning ?

OK. I have a 03 Z. I have my Maf off.
I have the electrical plug disconected.
I have a large towel under the Maf on my work bench.
I have a can of CRC Maf cleaner.
Do I spray into the Maff from just one side or both sides?
What is the proper procedure for cleaning our Mafs?
Whats the proper way of cleaning our throtle body.
Your opinion/input is appreciated.

Spray it all over and thoroughly. Do not touch the element inside. It should dry within a couple of minutes on its own.

i thoroughly clean the sensors from the front and back, and clean out the maf screen with the cleaner at the same time while making sure to never touch the sensors.

Thanks again to every one one replied. No screen in the Z's since 2001.
I sprayed from both sides. Also cleaned the t/body w/clean dry paper towel..
I put every thing back together last night & will test every thing out when the weather permits.
