Ok, just when I thought I knew something about my 99 Vette'AC, now I don't. I did all of the fuse pulling, DIC resetting , code reading, dancing around my car with an adult beverage singing chants, and I still am somewhat baffled. A little background. I had the compresser/Dryer replaced. The guy did a good job, he even cleaned the lines and put dye in it. It lost its freon, took it back , the schrader valves were bad. Fixed. I replaced the drivers side actuator before all of this because it had a code that it was bad. Now, It works one day great, the next day I get warm air on the drivers side. Check the DIC, I get the dirvers side actuator codes In H, reset, it blows cold on the drivers side for a few seconds , then changes its mind and goes warm. Sometimes it will stay cold, which is great, especially when its in the high 90's around here. Should I try a new HVAC control unit? If so, will a 03 work.
Thanks, I know everyone is tired of AC issues, as am I.
The only ones I get are the BO363H and BO441H (drivers side actuator, I replaced with a new one a month ago as the old one was gone). I clear the codes, it blows cold for a second and then moves back to the warm air, and the codes come back.Sometimes it stays cold, and codes don't come back. It is just all very random. I did check the drivers side actuator last night to check the wire connection. A couple of times (over the last week) when I reset the codes it came back with a BO363H and a BO441 H C, but when I reset it the C went away, and just the reoccuring two codes. Thanks for helping.
Also, I have the following codes TCS - 1243H, and LDCM - U1064H. Thats it. I plan on driving it tonight, so will post anything that happens tonight.

drove it tonight. No cold air on either side. No codes either. I probably need to put gauges on it and check the AC (tomorrow night). I have a feeling it has leaked again, where I do not know.
The guy put dye in it last time so maybe I can find it, but? What are the chances of a leak in the evaporator area?

Pretty COMMON! My forum Buddy warlock007 borrowed my freon detector, stuck the probe in the center vent and WHAM,,, it alerted instantly (leak in the evaporator coil) Thats NOT a good result or easy repair.
Try that test.
If the leak is small enough, you can charge with an R134 charge/oil charge and keep it working till theres a optimum repair opportunity.
Thats what I am not looking forward to, but I will try your suggestion. Just curious, if it is in the evaporator area, does it tend to be a connector or the evaporator itself?
Thanks for the help and suggestions.

I guess the secret is not to put "paging Bill Curlee" in the subject line.
No,,,, there are OTHER forum members that have responded to that post "WELL BEFORE I SAW IT" that provided great info. Why would i need to respond or contradict their replay's if there correct?
I'm NOT the only one that has C5 Knowledge on this forum. Lucky, Byron and toooooo many others provide 100% correct info on post that they respond to. Everyone has their EXPERT areas. For AC stuff,,, these guys rock!
I respond to NUMEROUS post daily. Unless the info that is being provided is not adequate or the wrong information, I usually wont respond. I gain my knowledge from actually solving C5/C6 issues. There are areas that I will NOT respond; because of lack of or no exposiure to. One that comes to mind is C5/C6 AUTOMATIC TRANNY issues. Im a C5/C6 "MANUAL" fan
