Default Oil Temp Sensor Plug

Just had an LS6 longblock installed into my 97 coupe. Been about 1000 miles and i was running codes to check on everything and noticed the B1543 code.
So i jacked up the car and looked at the sensor, turns out that either the plug was never plugged in, or it somehow worked its way loose and was sitting in between two primaries melted.
There is not a lot of room to work under there, and i tried breaking some of the melted plastic off so that it could be plugged back in, but its a chore. Where could i get this plug at? How hard is it to remove the pins out of this melted plug and put it into a new plug? Or should i just cut and splice into a move plug with new pins in it?

Two options. Either you buy a pigtail, and splice it in....or (if you have enough slack), you buy a connector, and re-terminate the contacts. The part number for the connector is in the service manual.
