Default rear end problem

what would be a fair cost to replace rear upper control arm and rear hub assembly? also should i replace both sides ? best parts?

How many miles on the car and what is wrong with the originals?

49 k miles notice arm broken on opposite side while checking for slack on rear wheels.

What did you (or the original owner if you didn't do it) hit to break a control arm?

Also more likely the lower control arm would be the one to break first since the loads in it are about twice that of the upper arm. Need to look at everything back there if you broke an arm.

Wow, that's not good. If you get hubs made with Timken bearings, they are about $200 each. If you get a new arm, I'm guessing, but I would expect around $250 - $350 range. Installing them isn't that bad, but if you have it done could be another $200. As the othe poster pointed out, all of it should really be looked over closely and a new wheel alignment will be needed too.
