"door ajar" switch
a while back, the "door ajar" switch failed on the passenger side door. I got a new switch and I assumed the two screws holding the switch were sheet metal screws, but after loosening the screws, I realized there was some sort of retainer holding the screws and it fell down into the door, now I'm going to have to remove the entire door panel to find and reinstall the retainer on the two screws holding the switch. What a hell of a design to replace a simple switch. Has anyone had this problem?
