Are they original CDs or copies? Some have success with copies, others don't.
Make sure each CD is installed correctly. They go into the tray differently than what you'd think they should.

Also check that the connection is tight where the CD changer is plugged in. Had this happen on my Roadtrip, taking stuff in and out of the Car. Somehow the connector has pulled or pushed, it just neeeded to be pushed together again.
