When you need to replace plugs replace the wires also. You may damage the old ones taking them off anyway but I always do plugs/wire together. The wires are probably good for at least 60K miles so if you replace the plugs before that and are really careful you can save some $$$ and keep them. GM wires are as good or better than most so I have stayed with them.

I do agree with this, except for the words "may damage".
I would bet a dollar that you will damage the old wires when you pull them off.
If you want iridium plugs, go with Autolite. If you want some more performance type plugs, check out the NGK TR55
Oh Geeez not this again. Nothing wrong with the gm wire but the MSD is a better wire for the same money.
Would you buy a VW Jetta if you could have the Mercedes for the same money?
We sell to performance shops as well ( the guys doing the tune-ups).
More features lower resistance, better heart protection, multi-angle, superior emi-suppression.
MSD are a natural when doing header swaps as the multi-angle plug end keep them away from the header tubes.. NO other wire offers this.
We offer them for the best deal with NGK in any heat range and iridium or AC Delco 41-110.
Don't waste your money on a more expensive wire. Wires do not add horsepower. (Unless your previous set was degraded)

I see from Lingenfelter's site that they use Magnacore wires. Any experience on the CF with Magnacore?
I purchased MAGNACORE wires back in 2000 for my 98 coupe. They are also great wires but they were expensive way back then. Very good quality and well built. Most premium wires today use the same spiral wound wire technology
GM Red wires are as well built and use excellent quality materials. I would go for the GM wires if it were me.
Any time you have a degraded wire and / or spark plug. Changing to a new wire and plug will make you engine run smoother. Doesn't make any difference if you swap out the defective wire and plug with brand A or B. The engine will run better. The difference between the brands of plug wires is how well they fit, how long they last, how they hold up to a severe environment and how well you like them.
