Try cruising at 30mph and slam on the backs, the motor may burst through the nose on the car. now that would be funny.

Road Atlanta Back straight, 163 mph and slam on the brakes, plus push the clutch in. down to ??? maybe 45-50 mph and did not have time to look, downshift 3rd and around T10 - T10A and back on the throttle

Car was doing a Motorcycle stoppie, nose to the ground, rear end was dancing like cold Oil on a HOT frying pan the ABS was working OVER time.

I had black an blue marks on my shoulders from my harnesses holding me into place after that day.

Wee bit out side my budget. at $2200 a corner. PLUS new wheels to fit over them.
Are you sure that's per corner? I talked to Gary about using SolidWorks to re-design the mounting system to match my vehicle (which isn't a Vette). He's a hard fella to stay in touch with though, and still no sign of a template

Their website indicates they are $2600, plus pads & lines. In the other thread, Gary does say in post #13, "Yes, [they work with OEM rotors], but what a shame to do!"

T1 front brake system $2,600.00

This is the state of the art in Corvette brakes for SCCA T1 class racing. It includes, the T1 rotors described elsewhere in this section, caliper adapter mounts, the new AP forged aluminum radial mount calipers with stainless steel pistons, anti-kickback springs, high temp seals, protected bleeders, and many other features. This system has more features that can be described here, so please call for any further questions. This kit is complete, but does not include pads or stainless steel lines, sold separately.
So, depending upon your application, you may be able to use OEM rotors, and save the $950 for the floating rotors. Or heck, if they are actually $2600 per axle instead of per corner, then they've effectively gone on 50% discount

ment $2600 for a front set. rear set has to be developed. Also 4 pot but differnt size pistions.

YES OEM rotors will work but not the wheels. Not enough offset.

and with those calipers, the stock rotors wont last long. Just about bite right though them.
