A 5 or 6 speed will need a different case. As far as installation
you will need a different cross member a new program and
a few other things.
Transmission builders can make it happen for you but it will be
expensive.
You never explained your need for the extra gears????.

I figured I was crazy. I was thinking the fifth gear could be a cruising gear. When on long trips to drop rpm for fuel milage but only for that. Should of bought the manual instead of worrying about the other half saying she wanted to drive then getting it and her saying I'm not driving your car. Lol

Swap your entire car for a 6-speed version. I have a "drive-to-the-gym" car that has an auto tranny. If my wife needs another car while her's is getting serviced, she takes the other car, not the C5.
