Trouble Resetting DIC Codes, Window Valet?
So know I say forget that and start the car. I immediately got a reduced power message, service tire mon, traction control, etc.......... I shut the car off for a few minutes and started it up again. Same thing.
Now I am really feeling sick. I let it sit a little longer and tried again. this time everything seemed fine. So I thought I would go for a little ride. I had just pulled out on to the main road and got a reduced power, service engine soon. The car seemed to run just fine, but I had no fuel gauge, no oil pressure, no water temperature, no radio, no power windows, no power locks.
Today I printed all of the codes from tech tips to see what I had. I had just about every loss of communication code possible from every module and a couple of circuits to ground. I tried to reset them by going into the manual diagnostic mode and hitting reset but nothing happened. Anyway I said WTF, fired it up and went for a ride with no problems. I have 3 questions:
1. Anyone know why the codes wouldn't reset?
2. Has anyone had any problems with the window valet interferring with the communications systems?
3. Do you think I have an intermittent computer problem, which had nothing to do with the window valet?
Thanks in advance!
