Default Preventative Maintenance ???

So I just bought my dream car and I had a couple of questions about preventative maintenance.

The guy before me took very good care of it, never raced it, and never modded anything. It was his daily driver and he did a lot of maintenance.

Well I am gonna let the cat out of the bag and tell you it has 200,000 miles on it. Wow that seems like a lot when I type it. It currently has no problems whatsoever. Does not burn oil, starts right up, has great power, shifts great, and drives perfect.

I have all the records and am very happy with my purchase. I know the LS1 is known to go for a very long time but I was wondering if there is any serious preventative maintenance that would help the vette last longer before I have to do a rebuild.

I know fluids are very important and he has always kept up on those. He has also replaced the whole electrical system and all the belts and hoses.

What are some things that I should consider doing to help my vette last longer before a rebuild?

I have heard that the LS1 is known for spinning rod bearings... is that something that should be replaced every 200,000 miles or do you just wait until one goes bad?

Thanks in advance

Well my car has 160k on it, for the most part it's the annoying little things. Pay attention to leaks, particularly the rear tub compartments and the areas behind the seats. When the car gets older- weatherstripping and some of the body panels start to deteriorate. It probably didn't help when I was younger I ran a humomgo sound system which probably cracked some of the glue seams causing leaks The water can cause a lot of damage especially if it gets into sensors/wiring/BCMs.

I would do shocks, a-arm bushings, tie-rod end links. maybe even new springs.
also would do a new radiator, who knows what crud is in there. New hoses. New brake line hoses to the calipers.

New calipers. brake pads and brake fluid flush.

new plugs and wires.
maybe new injectors, they will be close to the end of their life cycle.

then retune. Should be good to go then.

Make sure ALL the fluids are fresh--coolant, brakes, clutch, power steering, trans, diff. Many people think fluids mean oil and, maybe, coolant. Good luck
