Does your outside temp read right? it will affect your A/C operation.

There are threads on here on how to repair the screen, or get a newer one. You might try looking at the outside temp sensor ( check for corrision on connection), and maybe try to leave it disconnected and see what happens. Also, check and see if you have any codes.
Just my 2 cents worth. The sensor is located in the engine compartment, on the front passenger side, down between the radiator and headlight area.
One other thing. When you say it blows cold, is that on both sides?

The sensor, sorry no pic, but they have been posted here before so you can look and find one, or maybe someone can put a link for you.If you look along the side of the radiator/ passenger side, and follow it to the bottom, you will see it mounted on the frame at the bottom. Its just a small plastic piece. You don't have to take anything apart to get to it.
Hope this helps.
