Headlight problem

Today I turned on my parking light on my 2003 Corvette and the headlights came up. Normally the headlight stay down unless the headlights themselves are turned on. Anyone else had this problem or know what causes this to happen?

Any "grinding noise" from the headlight motor?

Is it possible that you bumped the switch a little too far just enough for the headlights to pop up.
That happens to me every once in a while.

I had the same problem and it turned out to be the MFS. There was a slight binding action when I twisted the column which was new. Good luck. re

This happened to me, later the grinding started. I replaced the headlight gear and all was fixed.

This is a sign of the headlight gear being stripped.
