2pc oil pan vs. 1pc?

Should. Don't have hands on experience, but I just went the other way-
I had an 01 LS1 with a two piece, blew the motor, had to replace the pan. Now, on my 04 LS6, I have a one piece.
The shop likes the one piece better- less chance to leak.
Plus, with the two piece, there are two gaskets, and they are about $60 (!) each.
