Default Better tire

I know, one of the all time most asked questions......Tires

While running NA, I found that the NittoII 305-35s were, in my opinion, the best tire I could run on the street and get the perfect split between VERY good traction, while keeping the curve carving capability and not being too bad in the rain. I could cut 0-60mph around 3 secs flat, and haul BUTT around mountain curves. PERFECT
Now that I am FI, with well over 600rwtq, I can easily spin these tires at 65mph As a matter of fact, I just finished (if you're ever finished) my SD tune, and they are now BALD
IT is a weekend ONLY car. I RARELY go to the track, and drivability in curves (love the mountains) is just as important as traction.
My question; Is there any better fit than the NittoIIs out there?

Thanks Quadman
It looks like they're not available a large enough size. I'm running 305, and would love to go a little wider but don't want the tires sticking out beyond the fenders
The NittoIIs have been a GREAT compromise between great handling and very good traction; I just didn't know if they had come out with anything better since I purchased these.

At 600 RWTQ I'm thinking it won't matter what tire you get for traction.

Probably right
Too be honest, although it is a PAIN to try to "take someone off of the line" (hypothetically of course) and just go up in smoke (of course I practice often, perfecting the "drive off the line" technique), the tires breaking loose does provide a "fusible link" that protects the stock Z06 rear that I'm running.
And of course it is SOOOOOO cool to break the tires loose at speed. I took my wife cruising yesterday. She made it clear that she though I was doing a little BS'ing about the breaking the tires loose. I ran it up to exactly 60mph (65mph 4-lane) switched off the TC, and floored it. She literally squealed when the back end slid out to the side before I got back off of it Her first words were "Do it again!!"
Power is addicting, but now you know why I am looking for tires
