T56 Help
Out of a 97 T/A...not a C5 trans but guessing the internals/symptoms may be similar. THis is installed in a 67 Camino
got a groaning sound coming when in 2nd gear doesnt go away til I put it in neutral and let the clutch out.
All other gears are fine, trans has about 3k miles on it. Slave is good, fluid full etc. Has a b and m ripper shifter on it. Never given me an issue before
Anyone heard a noise like this before....what could it possibly be.
Ive googled my butt off cant find anything. Talked to 2 shops that said drive it over and leave it...BS. If anything Id take the trans in guessing someone whos good with these wil know the symptom.
Too many nightmares with people wanting to test drive this thing you know how it goes.
Anyone experience something like this? You can hear and almost feel the noise almost like somethign is binding.
If I run the rpm up higher in first then go to 2nd doesnt seem to do it...yet
