Fuel gauge
I have seen some posts concerning the fuel gauge problem with some 2000 Corvettes (not sure if it’s only 2000). The fuel gauge goes unexpectedly to zero when the fuel tank is below half. I had this happened to me twice and the dealer fixed it free of charge. The second time, they replaced more parts that the first. Well, it happened again two days ago.
Is this happening because of a “bad design/faulty parts” or is the installer that is at fault? I am tired of this thing every six to eight months. The car is under warranty but what will happen when it’s not. I’ll have to pay for this thing at least once a year?
Your thoughts are appreciated.
