Default turn single problems

Turn single works for about 10miles then stops working, only to start once again after some time. Always when I restart my car.

Why do you want your turn SIGNAL to work for 10 miles? When it stops working, press the hazard flasher off and on several times and try turn signals again. If they work, you need a new hazard flasher. Search for tips and pictures on how to change it.

the blinkers wire through your hazard switch. Cycle you hazards on and off when it is acting up. If it clears and starts working, the multi switch is more than likely the culprit.

I had the same problem with my 2002. The is a tread here that tells of an easy fix. Tap into the flasher harness near the ign. switch which will by pass the flasher in the hazard switch.. This took me about 1/2 hour to do and a cost of $9.00.. Have not had any trouble since.. Here is the tread..

Default Don't "Dash" In

Pulling and replacing the knee plate of the dash was a bit of a challenge for me. Good luck if you undertake this fix on your own. The electrical part of it is the easiest part. The dash is what caused the problem for me. I got it done, but it took a lot of time. If you attack it like a bull in a china shop, you will end up breaking the dash. The dash may look solid when it is in place, but it is really a cheap piece of junk.
