Water inside car
The drivers side carpet on my car is wet. Cars been sitting outside under a tree and leaves were falling on it. Not sure where they'd have clogged up to cause a leak into the car. I pulled the ones out from under the windshield wipers and can't really seem to see many more.
I've searched and only found issues relating to A/C, I never run the A/C and there has not been an issue like this before. The car hasn't been ran for a few weeks and it's happened during that time.
Any ideas?
99 Coupe
Thanks,
Josh

Read the leak check sticky first...it's at the top of either this section (tech) or the general section.

Pull the driver front wheel...
remove the screws from the plastic fender well
look up inside you will see a few black "udders" hanging down...they are split open at the bottom...stick your fingers up in there I guarantee they are jammed full of leaves and crap....
IIRC there are 3

You con reach the udders under the hood without much problem. There are probably leaves and debris in them.

No need to go through the fender well, you can reach them from under the hood. There are"udders" under both sides of the cowl.

The udders have pretty small holes in the cowl, even if you take em out to clean.Pretty simple to catch the debris as you go.

They are on the passengers side too? Do I need to remove the battery?
I got a ton of leaves out of the drivers side, felt like there were only two though, couldn't find a third.

There are THREE!!!!!! I GUARANTEE IT!
Once you clean out the udders, I recommend removing the carpet and clean and dry it out completely. Make very sure that the UDDER ISSUE is the only issue. Hose the car down and look for other areas of water entry.
