When my dashboard/taillights went out I did the research and I did the repair to the switch and they work now HOWEVER my rt. ft. turn signal doesn't work now. It quick flashes the rt. rear but not the front (left works fine).
I pulled the rt. ft. turn signal bulb and it's still good (both filiments not broken and work when in flasher mode).
I cleaned the rt. and lf. grounds too.
I tried the flasher trick and all the flashers work and I pushed it about 100 times but the turn signal still keeps quick flashing.
I'm perplexed - any ideas before I try the elec. cleaner spray in the flasher trick!? And then the flasher bypass!
Do you have DRL on you car? PM an email address and I can send you schematics of the related circuits. You may want to try swapping the DRL relays if your car is so equipped.
Okay, is it possible that after fixing the column light switch (bending the contacts) that I may have bent one of the contacts too much and caused the right front blinker not to work? I drilled a hole in the Flasher and sprayed with Elec. cleaner; worked the Flasher a zillion times; cleared all the DIC codes (only 1 (H) code). Still inop...
If it worked with the hazard switch, then its not the lamp or its contacts. Its either the headlamp/multifunction switch or the connections to and from it. FYI, I just had a serious issue with the low beams intermittenty failing completely. I found a burned/melted "tan" wire from the switch connector. Bypassed it and all is well again.
Guess I'm going to become 'Expert' at removing the multi-function switch! I tried everything else - turn signals worked before I messed with the switch, e.g., it must be the switch. Thanks for the reply.

I have developed the same problem with the dash and taillights. What switch are you talking about? Thanks.
