My local Vette Specialists said if you lower the car too much you will greatly reduce the handling by not having as much tire to pavement contact? Soooo, i just had him lower it 3/4 to 1". Now that i'm bottoming out on everything i'm glad i didn't go lower.
I would lower it as far as you can with the stock bolts, and without cutting any bushings, that should give you at least 3/4 to 1 ". If you go any lower than this I would recommend installing Bilstiens, to help keep from bottoming out. Lower it the 1" first and see how you like it, 2" is a lot more than you think! :yesnod: Mine is lowered about 2 3/4", and it sits right on the ground! :D I only have about 3 3/4 inches of clearance at my front spoiler
Guys, this may be a dumb question, but how do we lower the car without cutting the bushings? Sounds like we take up on the bolt?? Appreciate the help and thanks.
