C6 front and rear....How is this possible?
I found these pictures while looking at some cardomain cars...Do they make a kit like this?? Or is this all custom? Anyone know whos car this is or is he on here? Look at the conversion at the bottom of the page.

I can't imagine that the costs involved would be less then simply buying a C6. However, it does prove that with determination and skill anything is possible.
Really like the coffee table. Not sure if that would fly with the wife though.

Well I found the company who makes the body kit. Looks like they are out of the country.

many of the C6s that are raced, are C5 chassies, and electronics with C6 body.
Chop off 6" of the front frame rails, reweld the front cross bar back on, move the front and rear A-arm mounting points It is work but can be done
Then a ACP body kit.
The question is why? the C5 wired electronics vs the wireless of the C6 is the big reason. Cheap to by C5 frames and concert to a C6 body, vs by a C6 and turn into a race car.
For a street car, not work it at all

I saw a car at Old Town in Kissimmee, FL that had this sort of thing done to it. The owner was a retired body shop owner and had done all the fabrication work himself. He didn't use a kit. He bought a totaled C5 and the C6 parts and put them together. The car was flawless.
He said he did it for the challenge. I don't see any other reason for it. If you want a car that looks like a C6 sell your C5 and take the money you would have spent on the project and simply buy a C6. They can be had mighty cheap right now.
