Default Heads, cam HELP

Just received my Katech Stage II heads and cam UPS yesterday. On Monday the balance of my order should be here to include: LS6 manifold, underdrive pulley, Belanger long tube headers and Cloyes adjustable gear set and C5R timing chain. The PCM to be programmed with my Katech modified Superchips Microtuner.

Cam specs: 566 Intake
569 Exhaust
220 @50 Intake
226 @50 Exhaust
@114 lobe

Question: Should we set the Cloyes adjustable gear set to 2 degrees or zero? Comments would be
appreciated.

to be exact you really should degree the cam. I usually put them in 2 degrees advanced just to make up for the inevitable chain stretch. I know some of the builders will disagree with this but every one I pull apart has at least that much chain stretch in a short time. I have the Hex-Adjust in mine. It' sreal easy to set.

Andy,

How much did the stage II H/C package cost you? What kind of gains are you expecting from them?

Thanks,
Frank

I have the "NON STRETCH" cloyes heavy duty timimng chain.
I have set the adjustable timing gear to "0".
Works good.
