Conti Extreme Contact DWS?

Tire Rack web site does not list the Extremes when searching by C5 and clicking the "show matching front and rear" tires. I knew that Continental made both the front sizes and the rear sizes that matched the stock C5 tires, so called Tire Rack to see what's up. The technician I talked to said that for some reason Continental does not make the two different tire sizes (front and rear) in the same speed rating. I did ask him if it would make much difference if I mixed speed ratings.... he strongly advised against it. Maybe their insurance requirements restrict them from advising otherwise... anyway I decided to take his advice.

Great tires!
I have them (205/50/16 - W speed-rated)) on my Mazda MX6 GT and I feel that they are excellent tires. They are the Summer, not the all-season versions.

I had them on my 99. 245/45-17 front, 275/40-18 rear. I thought they were EXCELLENT tires! Super quiet, plenty of cornering traction, and great treadwear. Wonderful in the rain too. No negatives with this tire IMO.

I bought a set this year for the upcoming winter months. So far they are quite on the highway, as my car is a daily driver this is important. They have been great in the rain at highway speeds (and then some). No problems with traction so far. I really hope the do well in the snow too, I can't imagine they'll be too bad.
Oh, I had to mix and match to get a set, as they don't offer the factory sizes for 17x9.5/18x10.5 rims.
