You can't go wrong with stock plugs and I believe the current plug is 41-110. They are factory gapped and should not be altered. There's a lot of thoughts on lots of plugs out there and everyone has an opinion. Some better, some worse...its your car, do as you wish but at least know the stock plugs were designed to work with a stock engine. I'm sure there are better ones too depending on the requirements. If you are still running stock wires, time to change them too. Gene Culley has a good price on GM Performance Wires right now...www.gmpartshouse.com or see his monthly postings of parts in here.

For everyday use, you can NOT beat the stock iridium plug. The GM Performance red wired are more than adequate for any C5 or C6.

You will NOT gain any performance or power from any of the aftermarket wires or plugs over stock. PERIOD.

Yea,, there are other wires ,,, but,,, like I stated. Your,, NOT,, going to gain any performance or efficiency gains form wire A or wire B.
You can see what LUCKY is getting at, Select your personal wire choice and DO NOT go for the performance gain HYPE!!!

The GM Red Performance wires have an EXCELLENT QUALITY Reputation and reliability record. Thats what your looking for in a spark plug wire.

Check the gap anyways. They could have been dropped. Also, the gap is often manufacture set at (i think) .040" and that is not correct for your application. I don't have my manual handy, but I think they need to be .060".
(yup, just checked and delco 41-110 are set at .040")

Not that it'll really make any difference, but a "better" plug would be the more costly platinum or iridium plug with the finer electrode, it think they refer to them as Laser Tip (or something).

I did see several options of plugs, all with different gaps. From .035 - .060"
It won't make a noticable difference in your car, but it is recommended to not adjust the gap more than (crap, it just slipped my mind) but i think it's like +/-.005" from where the manufacturer has it set. It's a geometry thing. Dunno, i always adjusted greater than +/- .005" ..... anyways, wish I could find that reference.

Eh, just dont use Champion =D

Don't think you can gap the Iridium plugs. The gap is different than the plat plugs.

You can set the gap on iridium, platinum, and copper plugs.

What you need to be mindful of is the method used to alter spark plug gap. DO NOT PRY AGAINST THE CENTER ELECTRODE!!!

Those cheap lil round gap gauges have a hole that many people use to attach it to there key ring, well it is actually supposed to be use to move the ground electrode without having to touch the center electrode. DO NOT ADJUST THE GAP BY PLACING THE GAUGE IN BETWEEN THE ELECTRODES AND TWISTING AND PRYING THEM APART!!!!

Gap requirement is different for each engine application also.
If your engine is stock then .060" is good.

tip: leaner mixture = larger gap; richer mixture = smaller gap
