Stuck in 5th gear help
99 FRC with 25,000 miles no mods,prior owner installed a stage 3 clutch.
So, tonight I take the car out for a ride,30 minutes into the ride,I exit the expressway ramp in 5th gear and could not get it out of gear.So,I finally get the car into a gas station.With both my hands and strength it would not come out of 5th gear.I check the clutch fluid and it was fine.Eventually it comes out of 5th gear,but 1st 2nd 4th and 6th no way just reverse and 3rd.What do you guys think is happening here.It is cold here in New York but ,there was no trouble changing gears when I left my house 30 minutes ago.Help

Can you shift the transmission with the engine shut down?? It sounds like the clutch might not be releasing.. Therefore, you can't shift.. There is a way to shift if you match engine speed to the car speed.. It's a little tough with out some practice..
How does the clutch peddle feel when pressed?? Does it engage at the same point??
You could also have a transmission problem.. Neither is good... sorry..
