I took my car to have a front end aligment at the local chevy dealer. Drove it afterwrads and I find that the car pulls to the right. i noticed that the air preossue is 39 on the left and 38 on the right. could this be causing it? Or was the alignment not done right?
one pound of pressure will not cause a pull. The car has adjustable toe in rear and would need a four wheel alignment, the fact if only they only did the front it could pull because it may not be aligned with the rear. A bad tire could also cause a pull, do not just assume it is bad alignment
I havent seen a front end alignment rack in years, almost all are four wheel alignment.Your pressures are high but that wont cause a pull, have it realigned.

Make sure it was not just a front end aliment...the best working aliment is a 4 wheel aliment.
Around here, South Florida, there are allignment shops....thats almost all they do. Most dealerships don't specialize in allignments. Vette handles worse after the work done by the dealership?
C5's should have 30psi in the tires when cold.........in the morning before you back out of the garage! Adjust your tires pressures and take it back to the alignment shop. Take it back as many times as you have to, until you're satisfied that it drives straight and the steering is straight. Let the service manager drive the car with you in it too, so he can feel it.
Check the front wheel bearings. A few years back I had a problem with tires wearing on the edges. Had it realigned four times in three months and tires were still wearing in odd pattern. In frustration I took it to a Mom and Pop alignment shop. The guy doing the work had been around since Moses made Corporal. He came to the waiting area and told me I had a front left wheel bearing that was bad which was causing the problem. They replaced the wheel hub assembly (you don't replace the bearing anymore, it is a cockamamey $550.00 assembly part) and voila! Problem was solved. Oddly it also decreased the interior cabin noise. Amazing.
