what is the safe operating temperature if the outside temp is 70 or above

Your LS engine will safely operate in the 230'3 on a hot day under load but with a stock thermostat and a properly operating cooling system it will stay around 210-220 and be perfectly normal.

What temps are you seeing to be concerned about??
