Electrical Connectors on Gauge Assembly
There are 2 electrical connectors on the gauge assembly; one on the left and the other on the right-hand side. In addition to supplying power to the two assembly flourescent lights what other items are powered by these connectors?
Thanks

what are you trying to do?
My left UV lamp isn't working. I was trying to see what other electrical feeds might come off the left harness to see if it might be a lose harness connection (I did the bezels about a year ago, but have not had any problems). All other items (HUD, dic lights, lights on HUD controls on left side, etc.) are working so it does appear to be just the bulb. It is my understanding that the bulb cannot simply be replaced...soldered into the IP circuit board. Rather than buy a used/new cluster (mine has the 50th anniversary logo on it) I was hoping to get mine repaired. From your post it appears there is a separate connector for each of the UV lamps. I need to locate this and see if it has come loose. If not, I've found a place that repairs them. Does anyone know of " AER Technologies, Inc." in Calilfornia? They advertise to be one of only seven Remanufacturing Centers in the United States for Delphi Automotive Systems. You send them your cluster and they send you a refurbished one or repair yours. I've done a Google search but can't find any of the others.
Thanks Tstar and Bill, those posts will be helpful if I decide to disassemble my cluster. In that these are flourescent bulbs does anyone know if they each have a separate "ballast?" Maybe that is the problem vs. the bulb. Also is there anyway to determine if a f. bulb is burned out. Being gas filled the usual incadescent approach (infinite Ohms) wouldn't seem to work. I guess I could switch the left and right bulbs, put it back together and plug it in and see if the left side lights up but not the right. I starting to go
Seoulbrooks, I'm going to give your recommendation a call tomorrow, but I went to their website and it appears they only work on C4 clusters, but they may know where to find a replacement bulb for the C5.
I'll keep y'all posted on my progress.

There is a single power supply for both bulbs, the silver box that hangs on the back of the IPC. I opened mine up and didn't notice any clear seperation/fuses;
I don't know of any way to test out the bulbs either, as a matter of fact I don't even understand why there are so many wires going to them!!!
I sent Toshiba Corporation an e-mail asking if the inverter board and UV bulbs used with it were still in production or how they could be purchased. The office is closed for the new year and will not respond until after 5 Jan.......
