More ABS, TC, AH woes
02 stock A4 vert - Ran the codes and all were H codes, C 1214 H, C 1287 H, C 1288 H - No current codes displayed - Fails only at randomn times and always resets with new ignition cycle, The errors I get are (Service Vehicle Soon, Service ABS, Service Active Handling, Service Traction Control) The most common is Active Handling kicking in at randomn times, If cruise control is activated it cancels it, If manually turn off Active Handling the cruise control works fine - Any ideas on where I should start looking?

The reason it resets is the EBCM is reset with each engine restart. The C1214 isn't a good sign. If you can't resolve that by checking and cleaning grounds at G103 (left front frame rail) and making sure the voltage line from the battery is providing a proper voltage you are probably in for an EBCM repair/replacement. The other two are steering sensor codes. If the sensor is marginal and randomly failing you could get some unwanted AH activation.
