I just installed some 315/30r18s and had no issues what so ever. They fit perfect and fill the wheel well very nicely. You will have no problems. Are you looking at those Falken RT-615s that have been on sale?

Well since the RT-615 are discontinued, www.vulcantire.com had them for $59ea. I got two shipped for $147. They all got sold out. The new Falken Rt-615 (better compound looks like) are $367ea. A few guys bought a lot of the discounted tires and are selling them for profit. Technically that is a good price but it sucks to know they got them for $59. If I knew that maybe I'd pay $200. I wouldnt try jacking forum members. Tough call.

You will need at least a 10.5" wide wheel to run a 315mm tire. The OEM Z06 rear wheels are 10.5" wide.

According to 'Tire Calulator' a 295/35/18 is a bigger tire then a 315/30/18. Not wider but bigger. So how would it fill in the tire well? Can anyone confirm this?

I went from stock 275/40/18 to Zo6 wheels and 295/35/18. My rear tires are wider (so are the fronts) but I have a bigger gap in the tire well. I was thinking of going back to stock size tires on my Zo6 rims.

The 315/30r18 is 12.6in wide while the 295/35r18 is 11.7in wide. the 315 is 25.6in tall and and the 295 is 26.2in tall. the 315 is a shorter tire so youll have to lower the car to shorten the gap and probably get shorter front tires, as I did, to keep the right look on the car and to not get service traction control messages.
