Just picked up a C5 that is lowered, but car rides like a rock. Will reversing the lowered vehicle improve the cars ride? And if it will how do you go about reversing the lowered chassis?
I can't tell you if your ride will improve, but thats how you raise it back up. Only you will be able to determine if it suits your needs at that point.
My Z is slammed and I have no complaints about the ride at all, not harsh in the least , in my opinion, but I hear lots of complaints about lowered Z's riding harsh, I assume its all in the expectation of the owner.
Some will post up a formula asking you measure 3 distances, but I just played with the bolts/nuts until it was even. The ride quality will improve some, but I recommend you upgrade/replace the shocks as the stockers were probably damaged at the lowered height.
I have a nasty driveway and the Z06 I bought was lowered. I raised it up and I just counted the top threads and made sure that they were the same all around.
This did not change the ride as far as I can tell but it did help a little with the driveway.
