Default Autometer fuel press. gauge
I have a electric autometer fuel press. gauge that has stopped working. Do the sensors for these gauges ever go bad ?

Not sure about autometer specifically, but as far as sensors in general, YES; I have an AEM on "another" car, and not only do it begin to register "off" it started LEAKING fuel

I would go to the "source" - Autometer and talk to them about the issue. Sometimes you get lucky and they'll send you a new one, even if the old one is out of warranty.

Good point Dave; I should have given props to AEM. They did send me another sensor that has been fine since.
The leak was disturbing though

The leak was not past the threads? If not, then that is a bit scary.

No; the leak was out of the sensor itself. It was SPRAYING a small stream of gas on the engine
