You better go and listen to a car with the cats removed before you do this. It is way loud. I don't know how you can evade the law with that set-up! To each his own. If the x-pipe made it too mellow, why not remove it? :cheers:

Is it really obnoxious? Hell I just want same level of raspyness I had before the X-Pipe. BUT....without the motorboat chug and popping.
How much loader and sharper does it get without the cats? Not worried about the cops as my car is not a daily driver. And there is no emissions testing here in FL :D

The removal of the cats did'nt make the car louder but clearer in tone. The Corsa's have no resonance and the x-pipe did get rid of the the motorboat sound. Again, the placement of the x-pipe does make a difference. I've had this setup for over a year with no issues.
