Under Drive Pulley
I am doing heads, cam, Z06 intake manifold, long tube headers and ASP underdrive pulley.
Question :
Is anyone out there having any problems with the underdrive pulley. Either with battery, alternator or any other issues.

Re: Under Drive Pulley (Andy_A)
Is anyone familiar with the different manufacturers of pulleys. ASp seems to be the most popular and priced at approx. $250.00. Another mfg is ATI. Has anyone had experience with them.

Re: Under Drive Pulley (Buckmaster)
I know there has been a supply problem for a LOOONG time with the ASPs... has that been corrected and, if so, who has them in stock? How much.
Thanks,
Don

ASP is the most popular and in fact some companies who claim that it is their pulley is actually an ASP pulley. Get the ASP and you will be fine :)

Re: Under Drive Pulley (Speed-Racer)
I have the MTI underdrive pulley systems and i was hesitant to install them because i didn't want my lights to flicker when everything was on. So far not one problem at all! I'm glad i got them installed.

Re: Under Drive Pulley (Andy_A)
I have a keyed ATI underdrive pulley. No problems.
If you have a supercharger in you future get a keyed pulley (need to key the crank) from the beginning.

How much was installation ?
I would LOVE to do this but I have heard they are a nightmare and very expensive to install.

I think that's right, so I had mine done while the cam was being pulled.

Re: Under Drive Pulley (Speed-Racer)
The cost for installation is unknown at this time as I am also doing:
Katech heads & cam & pcm
Z06 Intake manifold
long tube headers
NGK plus
Wires
Etc

Re: Under Drive Pulley (seanr)
seanr, the S/C uses the stock pulley. I have to remove my UD pulley from my car and have the stock one keyed now.

Re: Under Drive Pulley (vetterdstr)
You learn something new every day :bb I assume a option could be to get another pulley size for the supercharger to get the same result ?
