Popping on starting
I have a 2003 C5 with 44,000 miles 
and am experiencing a "pop" upon starting the car. It only "pops" once then starts and runs as normal no other symptoms. Anyone got any idea what the cause maybe ????

Check for codes 1st--your owners manual will show you how to do this yourself or search the forum and there are directions
My experience would say that a "pop" is an ignition misfire-- IF it only happens at start-up I would guess that you have a leaky injector that loads up one cylinder and when started it tries to fire off all that excess fuel all at once causing a misfire--then it clears up quickly--
Try using some good injector cleaner I like Seafoam the best--next would be Chevron in the blue botttle---
PS : at 44K new plugs are absolutely needed---if youve never changed them this could be all it needs too---
