I'm keeping both of mine in the garage for now till the salt on the roads is gone...which won't happen till it rains and washes it away. It might rain here Sunday and Monday but still a chance of between rain and snow.

I've taken all mine out in the winter on dry days just to keep the oil in good places, just a trip around the subdivision to get things warmed up, may 2-3 miles. I go though a tank of fuel during the winter, starting every week or so and running it around every now and then.

I did that 3 weeks ago. January 4th, first ride of 2011. Felt good to be back in the saddle.

I used to do that, now and again, over the years, with different cars that I've stored during the winter. However, with my current storage situation, I have two cars "shoe-horned" into a 1.5 car garage, so moving them in and out isn't possible, once they go in for the winter.

Secondly, where I'm located, we really haven't had any "dry" days during the last 2-3 winters. I do, however, start the cars every 2-3 weeks and let the engines warm up, just to keep the oil circulating around, and take the tension off the same valvesprings...
