Have any of you installed the shock simulators from Ecklers? My shocks were bad. I know, but two were leaking. anyway, I got the kit, replaced the shocks. When I got to the rear of the car, the plug wire to the
bottom was different. I called ecklers, and they had me call the manufacture. The female connector should be male. He said NOT to cut any wires. He had never ran into this problem before. The wires with the "wrong" connectors come right out of the wiring harness. It has never been touched, why would it? I was wondering why I couldn't cut the wires, swap ends so that the bottom simulator would work. The top wires are now dead anyway.

The only shock sims I see on the Ekler's site, is for 2005+ with F55. Are the connectors for a C5 and C6 suppose to be the same?
Oh great. The chevy dealer checked my vin. Now what do I do? I have replaced all the shocks, put the simulators on the from and am waiting to hear from the simulator builders. the car is in the air waiting. How do I get the F55 programed out? since I changed the shocks, what about the ends of the wires to the computer?
I also bought the simulators from ecklers. labeled for 2004. front fit as advertised. But the rears are the same as your describing. I also thought about cutting the end off the pigtail and swapping ends. This would allow use of the eckler simulator. Or just install resistors as described elsewhere in these posts.
Mine were the same way. I called the company several times . they said that they "had never ran across that problem before". they finally sent me an adapter.call Ecklers and tell them the problem and ask for the company;s #. Then I took it to the Chevy dealer and had them do their thing with the tech II, about a week later , the "sev the tire pressure....."
I sure with the correct shocks were NOT so darn costly.
I still have to take it to another turner to get it done correctly.
WHAT A PAIN.....
