Default Touch -Up Paint Question
Hey there. Thanks to some fwy debris Im filling in some chips on my door with oem correct color touch-up paint. Is the correct procedure to fill in the chip above the existing paint to then sand it down and blend it in with 1500 grit paper and finish with rubbing compound? Thanks.

That will give the best results. Your mileage may vary depending on how close the match it.

Yeah well my paint is still in really good shape and glossy and the car only has 66,000mi. I hope I can blend it in good.
