Is there any possiable way that the Harmonic balancer pullys could move back toward the engine? My A/C belt broke and I was looking at the pullys and they didn't seem to line up.They all felt tight so I don't know what's going on.

It's a fairly common issue. you can also put a marker or paint line on the balancer straight from the hub to the outer part...go drive the car and get on it once or twice up to 5000 rpm or so...see if your outer line moved relative to the inner. then you'll know if it's spinning on the hub(forgive the grammar/spelling/punctuation)
I'm just finishing a cam install and I will tell you changing the balancer is a little work. Everyone needs to find the joy in removing your steering rack. Oh, and 240 torque on that balancer bolt.
You need to replace it before it gets all the way back and eats things up. There was a post on here recently about one wearing into the oil pan to the point it had to be replaced.

That is not the correct torque value for the harmonic balancer bolt. It's torque to yield fastener with in initial torque value (can't remember) in FT/LBS for the first pass followed by a second pass to 140 deg I believe.

FP at 37 ft lbs, then 140 degrees. If he used an ARP bolt, 240 ft lbs, is what most have reported using........although, ARP suggest the following depending on the lube:
196 ft lbs - moly lube
235 ft lbs - loctite
247 ft lbs - 30 wt oil

Thanks but he did not specify ARP. I would not use a non-TTY fastener for this application unless there was a key way used.
Thanks folks, I figured it might have moved. I had one come apart once on another car. Did someone say I would have to take down the steering rack?
Yes, it is one of the required steps listed in the service manual procedure for the harmonic balance replacement. You may want to consider getting one.
