Default Which gears should I get?

Right now I have a Vararam and Borla Stingers with X-pipe. I plan on getting headers next year but this year I want to go with gears first. I'm assuming 4.10's will still hook up with what I have but just wondering what you all think. I do not care about top speed or gas mileage, just pure fun and acceleration.

Thanks

If you are looking for the fun factor, by all means go for it! 4.11's rock! Beware, you will have permagrin!

I am guessing you have a 6 speed? If so 4:10's are a lot of fun but hard to hook up specially if you have run flats. I run GoodYear GSD3's with my 04 with 4:10's which are better than the stock runflats for traction. You basically launch at below 2K and still will spin. If you need more traction get softer race tire. I don't track my car so 4:10's are perfect for me. Best mod I have done. I have a friend with an 08 Z06 and he loves driving my car. I have driven his and while his is much faster mine feels more responsive when taking off from a stop.

I have 3:15's and an A4 but I have wider, non run flat tires. The car is stored now but I think the tires/wheels are .5" wider all around.

3.90s. Have you considered a torque converter?

if you ever plan on racing at the track (1/4 mile) then you might want to go with 373s - otherwise, you might run out of gear up top and have to shift into od
