Default Engine pull, top or bottom?

I've got to pull my engine on '98. Do I need to pull it out through the hood opening or out through the bottom of the car??

Cajundude did a full write up on pulling from the top. I am swapping the motor in my 98 and I am undecided on wether I want to throw it on a borrowed lift or just do it in the garage with my engine hoist.

If you have access to a 2 post lift then by all means take it out the bottom!

The only downside is that I need to tow the car an hour north, pull the engine, and swap mine in a day since it will be a borrowed lift. If I do it in my garage, I can do it at my own pace whenever I feel like it.
