Default Performance Advice..

Since I don't think I will be able to make my Bose work with a Sub right, I think I am going to blow my budget on performance. I want it to inhale and exhale right. I was thinking K&N or Black Wing Intake with (fill in the blank) on the front end. I want Route 66 Ovals on the back (Don't like really loud exhaust)

Question 1: Black Wing or K&N on the Front. Any other Suggestions for Intake (coupler, power duct) I would like to know the cheapest place to get these as well.

Question 2: I have an A4, should I get an X Pipe or does the Route 66 behave as far as deceleration etc?

Thanks

If you don't want a loud exhaust, then why buy an aftermarket one???? If you just want the looks, then you can get tips to put on the stock exhaust. If you want just a little more agressive sound, then do the A&A mod. I had the Corsa Chrome tips, and A&A mod, but got a good deal on some PRT's and swiitched.

As far as intake mods go, you can go the enxpensive route like I did for a year or so, did the job just fine, but I switched to the Vortex to seal off the engine compartment.

I want the B&B so that it will have a better exhaust flow for performance as well. I know it will be louder than stock, I had PRTs on my 97 and hated them. Thanks for the intake info..
